End User License Agreement
In short: Use The Link for anything you want — livestreaming, recorded video, events, commercial venues, and any other commercial purpose. No application, no approval, no fee. The only thing we ask is that your audience or users can tell you are using The Link: display the name "The Link" clearly; the logo is not required. Purely private use needs no attribution at all. Full terms in Section 7.
Section 1: Acceptance of Terms
By using this software, you agree to the following terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, please stop using the software immediately.
Section 2: Software Description
The software enables users to map physical movements captured via camera into in-game actions, functioning as a human input device for gaming applications. The Link uses real-time pose recognition to translate body motion into keyboard, mouse, and controller signals without requiring any wearable hardware.
Section 3: User Responsibility and Risk Assumption
3.1 Physical Safety
Users design their own movements and assume all injury risks. The developers and publishers of this software are not responsible for any injury or loss resulting from the use of this software. Please warm up before engaging in extended motion sessions and take regular breaks.
3.2 Environmental Safety
Users must maintain safe, obstacle-free surroundings. Ensure adequate space around you when performing motion inputs. Clear away furniture, cables, and other objects that may pose a tripping or collision hazard before use.
3.3 Physical Condition
Users with health concerns should consult medical professionals before physical activity. This software involves body movement. If you have musculoskeletal conditions, cardiovascular conditions, or any other medical condition that may be aggravated by physical activity, consult a physician before use.
Section 4: Third-Party Game Terms and Conditions
The software functions as an HID (Human Interface Device) device. Some game companies may prohibit the use of third-party input software in their terms of service or end-user agreements. Users bear sole responsibility for understanding and complying with the terms of service of any games they play. Developers and publishers of this software are not liable for any account suspensions, bans, or other consequences arising from a game company's enforcement of its own rules.
Section 5: Disclaimer
This software is provided "as is," with no express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The developers make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy of tracking, compatibility with any particular game or hardware configuration, or fitness for competitive or professional use.
Section 6: Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, developers and publishers are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this software, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, data loss, loss of profit, or business interruption, even if the developers have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Section 7: The Link Attribution License
7.1 Broad License Grant
MasonX grants a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, sublicense, sell, offer as a service, and otherwise use for any purpose, including any commercial purpose, The Link software owned by MasonX.
7.2 Sole Attribution Condition for Public and Commercial Use
Any public or commercial use is authorized without separate approval or fee, provided the name "The Link" is clearly and legibly displayed to that audience or to those users. The name alone is sufficient; use of The Link logo is not required. No source-code or derivative-work disclosure is required.
Public or commercial use includes distributing the software or a derivative of it, livestreaming or publishing video or other content that features the software in use, and offering any product, service, experience, event, or venue built on the software.
Any one of the following satisfies the condition: the name shown on screen or in a stream overlay, in the title, description, or channel panel, in the end credits, or on an About, Credits, or Legal screen that is reasonably accessible to users.
Purely private use, which is neither published nor commercialized, requires no attribution.
Permission to display the name "The Link" solely to satisfy this attribution condition is included and does not imply endorsement.
7.3 Rights Scope and Third-Party Materials
This license applies only to The Link software owned by MasonX. Third-party components and materials remain subject to their own terms, licenses, and notices. This license grants no rights that MasonX does not own.
7.4 Lawful Use
Software must not be used illegally or harmfully. Users agree not to use this software to facilitate cheating in competitive contexts where such conduct is prohibited, to infringe upon the rights of others, or to engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable law.
Section 8: Public Model Contributions
Submitting a motion model to the public library is separate from saving a private model or synchronizing a model over the local network. A submission remains non-public until it is manually approved.
For each submission, you represent that you own or control all rights needed for the model, title, description, thumbnail, and other submitted material, and that the submission does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party right. Do not submit unauthorized game art, screenshots, logos, trademarks, music, video, or another person's model.
When you submit, you grant G.M Software Technology Co. Ltd. (湖州瑰眸软件科技有限责任公司; Unified Social Credit Code: 91330502MA2JLQG804) and its service providers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, technically modify for compatibility and safety, review, display, distribute, and make the submission available through The Link products and services. This license lasts while the submission is distributed and for a reasonable backup and legal-compliance period afterward. You retain ownership of your original contribution.
The Link may reject or remove a submission at any time for safety, quality, legal, or policy reasons. Removing a public listing does not remotely delete copies that users already downloaded. You may withdraw your listing or delete your account using the available account controls, subject to records that must be retained for security, rights verification, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Section 9: Amendments to Terms
Terms may be modified at any time with immediate effect. Continued use of the software following any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. MasonX will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes via the website or in-app notifications.
Section 10: Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MasonX is registered, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law. Nothing in this agreement limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
