Use Your Phone as Camera & Mic (Step by Step)
There are many apps on the market that let you use your phone as a webcam. You can search online and choose any app that works for you. I personally used iVCam in this example.
1. Download iVCam PC Client
Open your browser and visit: https://www.e2esoft.com/ivcam/

2. Click “Download for Windows” to get the iVCam PC version

3. After installation, launch the software and scan the QR code or visit App Store or Google Play to download the app.
4. Once you open the mobile app, if both PC and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network, they should auto-connect
Your phone is now acting as a webcam! 🎉

5. If it doesn’t connect automatically:
Try manual connection or check your firewall settings.

6. Optimize iVCam Settings for Low Latency Wi-Fi
To minimize lag, follow these settings:
Click the three-line icon at the bottom right
Uncheck Hardware Decoding

Then click “Settings” and use the following recommended values, you want low image quality and low resolution to make sure low lag connection through wifi

7. Rotate or Flip if the Camera is Upside Down
Click the gear icon → Camera Settings → Rotate or Flip the image

9. Set iVCam as Default Webcam in The Link
In The Link, go to camera settings and select iVCam as the active camera source
